Disable or Enable a Vector Mask
No Need to register just click and get started ...
How To
Step #1: Click on a layer with a vector mask under the LAYERS panel.
Step #2: Click on Layer in the top menu bar.
Step #3: Click Vector Mask.
Step #4: Click Disable (a red crossout or X label will appear over the mask thumbnail showing that the vector mask has been disabled).
Step #5: Click on Layer in the top menu bar.
Step #6: Click Vector Mask.
Step #7: Click Enable (the red crossout or X label will disappear over the mask thumbnail showing that the vector mask has been enabled).
Result: The vector mask has been disabled and enabled alternately.
Step #2: Click on Layer in the top menu bar.
Step #3: Click Vector Mask.
Step #4: Click Disable (a red crossout or X label will appear over the mask thumbnail showing that the vector mask has been disabled).
Step #5: Click on Layer in the top menu bar.
Step #6: Click Vector Mask.
Step #7: Click Enable (the red crossout or X label will disappear over the mask thumbnail showing that the vector mask has been enabled).
Result: The vector mask has been disabled and enabled alternately.
Quick Step
Layer -> Vector Mask -> Disable, Layer -> Vector Mask -> Enable

Shift + click (on vector mask thumbnail)

Vector masks are helpful when editing small portions of a large, complex image because it covers up the other areas of the image and allows you to focus on the part that you need to work on. This action is a fast and convenient way to disable or enable a vector mask when activated via its keyboard shortcut, Shift+click (on vector mask thumbnail).
